Captured my imagination, it did -- and still does. One of the reasons the SPAD will remain a favorite of mine through the ages (well, besides being a PROP plane too!). Great book that recollects the memories of a carrier SPAD pilot is "Gold Wings, Blue Seas" One of the books that put my feet on the path to Naval Aviation... - SJS Buck:
