Welcome home warriors! Our squadron, Observation Squadron Sixty Seven (VO67), the Ghost Squadron, had one of our OP2E aircraft lost on a steep mountainside in Laos since 1968, and the crew was not recovered unitl 2001. We know of the joy of having crewmembers brought home. We salute your warriors and rejoice with you at the repatriation. PH2 Earl D. Litz VO67 Association Secretary.

Seeing the name Oriskany brings back so many memories! We were living at Cibi Point when the Oriskany had their terrible fire. So may were burned. At that time Fred Buehl was the Flight Surgeon at Cubi and he and my husband, Cdr. Earl w. Stanley flew out to the Oriskany to attempt to idnetify burned victims. They finally resorted to dental records to make some I.D'd\s....a sad time for all.
