Ice 1, Scribe 0

Seems the ice in the polling place parking lot was the real winner Tuesday night. Butcher’s bill - one busted hand & wrist (possible depot level repair - awaiting NARF Team), severely bruised elbow and shoulder.  Rotater cuff also pending NARF eval.  Oh yes, that was the writing hand too…posting may be a little light ’round these parts until after repairs and PMCF.  Stay tuned. -SJS

    Did you at least walk away saying “and you should see what the other guy looked like!”?

    I bet if you put out a call for guest posting, like you did with your young upstarts before, someone, or a few someones, would step up to the plate (and take over to eat all the ice cream and complain about the movies they’d see many times before)…

    It’s a conspiracy, involving Russian weather machines I suspect. Taking advantage, of course, of the general inability of anyone in the D.C./northern Virginia area to handle the slightest bit of ice/snow.

    Seriously, get better soon and get the slaves kids working again.

    Ouch!
    Sounds painful, hope it starts feeling better soon. Funny thing is, Feb 13, the same day clutzy I (no, that’s no reference to you :grin: ) fell down the stairs, smashed my back and aggravated already cranky neck and shoulders.

    So I guess it really was the 13th. Good thing it wasn’t a Friday!

    While being very glad to hear that it wasn’t worse, I’m so sorry to learn that this happened. :cry:
