I will indeed be there. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware that the show was running all this week (figured it was a once a week deal.) Normally that’d be good, but this week is dead week, which for me is even busier than finals week (the wave of papers/projects that have been procrastinated on is about to break). Looks like I’ll have to shift some stuff around…
Good news – if you happen to be Tivo or VCR challenged/deprived, you can go to the website (follow one of the links above) and hit the “Full Episode” tab. After the subj. episode airs, you’ll be able to watch online at your leisure.

Sweet, thanks. I was wondering if they were going to do some sort of online offering. Liked what I saw so far tonight. Definitely saw a couple of “leadership challenges” among the crew.
Best known as a swan winging its way across the night, the constellation Cygnus is easily seen in the northern hemisphere's summertime sky. This new view of the Cygnus-X star-forming region by the Herschel Telescope highlights chaotic networks of dust and gas that point to sites of massive star formation. This image combines far-infrared data acquired at 70 micron (corresponding to the blue channel); 160 micron (corresponding to the green channel); and 250 micron (corresponding to the red channel). The observations were made on May 24, 2010, and Dec. 18, 2010. Herschel is a European Space Agency cornerstone mission, with science instruments provided by consortia of European institutes and with important participation by NASA.
