VALOUR-IT Countdown

Less than 3 weeks to go until the kick off of the Fall 2007 VALOUR-IT Campaign/team competition.

Kurt has a write-up and some overall guidance over at his place while John lays out the general idea and issues a staff call for team leads over at Argghhh.  Couple of notes:

•  It would appear Team Junior Service (aka the latest iteration of the Army Air Corps) has finally found a team lead. 
• Who will be Team Marines’ head this year with VC’s departure?
• Note the change to the Maritime services team for this year with the addition of our Coast Guard brethern in arms – we now have all domains covered, from the briny blue to the littorals to the FEBA with forces forward from the sea.
• Be sure to registger and log-in on the bulletin board set up by Kurt for planning purposes and announcements

 We, being the first holders of the Most Excellent GoldEn Notebook (aka MEGEN) are well prepared to defend the same this coming year and are looking forward to a spirited contest with our fellow Teams in this most worthy of causes.  Remember – Valour-IT is an IRS-certified non-profit (donations are tax-deductible) and is non-political. Regardless of ideas about how/why war is being waged, the fact is that people are wounded and need our help. Valour-IT is about supplying that help, not about endorsing or opposing the reasons why it’s needed.
